The Bear Hotel Artworks Museum is a one of a kind community facility housing artwork, artist studios and unique meeting rooms. Evergreen hosts community events, the annual customer appreciation Winter Wonderland as well as many other fun events.
The name, “Bear Hotel,” began as a nickname local artists gave to the Evergreen rented warehouses which produced the first three enormously popular Grants Pass BearFests. Later, when a permanent facility was built, and community events and meeting facilities were added, the name, “Bear Hotel,” just stuck.
Evergreen has become famous for its display of public art. Most of this artwork is created at the Beart Hotel by a dedicated group of talented local artists. There is always something going on and so much to see at the Bear Hotel. We offer tours to the general public free of charge. It has been said that “you really can’t experience Grants Pass without a visit to the Bear Hotel.”
Tours are available through appointment only. Please contact Teresa Cashera at (541) 479-3351 to make an appointment.
