Taprock Northwest Grill is situated along the Rogue River and embodies ideal Northwest ambiance. Its spectacular architecture and Northwest fishing-lodge style make it a premiere destination.
| To understand the restaurant, you need to understand how it was built. The building is different in that it did not start with an architect or builder; it started with an artist – Bob Eding. Bob is a world-renowned artist living in Southern Oregon. Bob explains his initial involvement with the project: “I was asked to draw what a Northwest fishing-lodge would look like if it was located on the Rogue River in The Best River Town in America.” That drawing was the road map from start to finish of the project. |

Bob kept the focus on art in every detail. The result is spectacular. From the hand painted murals with hidden creatures to the custom embossed elevators, every detail is an artistic masterpiece. The restaurant is intended to provide a quality Pacific Northwest menu at a price that both a tourist and more importantly a local resident can afford. A place where young and old can equally enjoy delicious food, in an environment that celebrates the river – Taprock Northwest Grill is that place. |

| Peter and Lindi Sedlow created the bronze double doors, at the restaurant entrance. The doors stand 10-feet tall, are over 1,000 lbs and depict a forest complete with wildlife. This awe-inspiring entrance is the centerpiece of the invitation to people to come to Grants Pass. Words cannot accurately describe the artistic experience created; the beautiful surroundings along with bronze wildlife sculptures throughout the property speak for themselves when you come for a visit. |
